Brunei's entire tech ecosystem runs through one capital. With a population under half a million and no personal income tax, Bandar Seri Begawan concentrates a government-backed accelerator, national seed funding, and a small but real crop of startups — some, like EVYD Tech, already running joint labs with Singapore's A*STAR.

Anggerek Desa Tech Park (ADTP)

A DARe-managed park 3km from the airport, built out in phases: the iCentre runs a tech and innovation incubation programme, the Knowledge Hub facilitates R&D, and the US$14M Design & Technology Building hosts tenants including Autodesk, SideFX and Beijing Sesame World Technologies. Its Business Support Centre has served as a single licensing and permit portal since 2016.

Pavo Point

Brunei's newest Grade A building, a 10-storey mixed retail-and-office tower in central Kianggeh. Its corporate office floors are still filling with mainstream tenants rather than tech firms today, but the building's modern specification and central location give it real potential to become BSB's next tech-adjacent office address as the startup scene outgrows Gadong and Kiulap.
