Circular economy infrastructure — recycling technology, waste-to-energy, materials recovery, and extended producer responsibility (EPR) systems — is undersupplied relative to the volume of urban and industrial waste most regions already generate. The opportunity isn't reducing waste. It's building the market that makes waste valuable.

HOW WE BUILD IT

We treat waste management as a market-design problem, not a public-works problem. That means connecting municipal waste authorities to materials-recovery ventures and manufacturers who need recycled inputs, and using Policy — EPR schemes, landfill levies, procurement mandates — to make the resulting supply chain commercially viable rather than subsidy-dependent. As with our other Green Economy ecosystems, we sequence this through the venture maturity model: subsidised pilot recovery facilities first, hybrid models once the policy scaffolding is in place, and fully investable materials-recovery businesses once the feedstock and demand sides are both proven.
